myGrid Duracell

Duracell myGrid
Surely most of you will have raised at one time or another how will the gadgets we use in the next few years. 3D display without special glasses, such as the Nintendo 3DS, augmented reality, virtual reality, mobile power comparable to small computers, display devices flexible electronic ink color, ...

What is not so common is that people stop thinking about how to charge all these gadgets. Will we continue in 5 years under the tyranny of cable and plug? Or is it as simple as, for example, placing the device on a specially designed surface? The latter theory is headed Duracell with his latest invention, the myGrid, a device that I had the opportunity to prove by Bloguzz, and will be available in the English market in October this year.

Duracell This new charger is a board that plugs into the stream and is capable of carrying up to 4 devices at once, using electrical conduction. Of course, since these devices have been designed to be loaded in this way, we must draw on adapters that go beyond the current myGrid the gadget.

This, in the case of some players and mobile phones (iPhone, iPod Touch, BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry Curve), is resolved fairly comfortable and successful, through a series of protective covers that serve as conductive material and through to which you simply place the device on the myGrid to get home so that it starts to load. Barely unoccupied space, without a tangle of cables, easy, simple and for all family, but certainly many will miss most attractive designs for bags, which could be remedied in the future success of the gadget.

For other phones, like Nokia, and those using miniUSB and microUSB, the solution is slightly less convenient, since we have to resort to small clips that we attach to the apparatus at the time of loading.

But the biggest problem you will face Duracell, of course, is the lack of standardization in the market, because, although the company plans to launch all kinds of solutions for mobile (Sony Ericsson, Motorola, LG and Palm) , handheld consoles (Nintendo DSi and DS Lite) and game consoles (Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360) over 2011, the adapters are not exactly cheap: 30 €, compared to 40 € the promotional price will be launched with the myGrid.
