This is part of a job for signal analysis and noise ... The mathematical analysis was made (unfortunately for the time) with the equation editor of Word, also drawings in Word, and the final diagram is a graph made by the program Maxima 5.9.3 Freely available under GPL.
In Internet there are many references to this problem, I think some professor published the problem with a similar solution.
Assuming that the input signal is an impulse function, we have f (t) = δ (t), which led to the frequency domain using Fourier transform, F (w ) = 1 (see Figure 2).
The low pass filter characteristic is that it allows the output is equal to the entrance to a limit imposed by the frequency. (See Figure 3).

what the conclusion? Well, the function g (t) for the momentum at t = 0 is obtained from a response time less than zero so that the system is not causal.
