Bloggers should not use ad blockers

We all know that advertising is the mainstay of the internet. Most web services, online journals, blogs and media sites have their primary income from ads in different formats.

On the other hand, many users see in advertising an obstacle in your browsing experience, which has led the development of ad blockers, or tools that prevent the ads are displayed.

In Smashing Magazine made an interesting reflection Should web designers to stop using ad blockers? reflection that can be extended to bloggers and users in general. The arguments for not using that gives the author of the note are, in my interpretation:

■ hinder community. Breaking an ecosystem of production, consumption and distribution. ■ Promote
selfish. Where what matters is "my" navigation and forgotten the efforts of creators of content. ■
can create a miniburbuja. Companies investing in advertising and fewer people willing to consume. ■ Make
navigation
less real. For a designer and a blogger, you loose see a different internet than most, almost utopian, no advertising.
would add:

■ Worsen design of various web sites. The current web design is almost always considered the space for advertising, and the visual weight of design is taking them into account. In some places this balance is lost without advertising.
And the benefits of these blockers are known by others, notably a slightly faster navigation and less visual weight.

certainly a controversial issue, in my opinion, ad blockers do not yet have a critical impact on the incomes of the web sites, otherwise, would undoubtedly have an equal amount of tools "anti-blocking" , on the other hand, it is all the fault of the blockade of advertising, much of what is decided in block sites that abuse in density intrusive ads and navigation.
